About RIBS
SDM Research Institute for Biomedical Sciences is an independent teaching & research institute that started in the year 2019 under the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University, Dharwad. The institute is intending to conduct research in the advanced & emerging areas of modern science with innovation & initiative for indigenous technology & product development.
2016
SDM Life Science Research Center was established on the 5th floor of specialty hospital building of SDM College of Medical Sciences.
2017
SDMLSRC was dramatically recognized as SDM Biomedical Research Center due to the active involvement of researchers in collaborative research.
2018
The institute established specialized research facilities including pharmaceutical grade clean room.
