He acquired M. Sc. in Biochemistry from PG centre Davanagere, Kuvempu University and after working as a lecturer in Biochemistry at St. Aloysius College, Mangalore.
In his Ph.D. program, he worked on isolation and characterization of trypsin enzyme from fish and its bactericidal effect.
Worked as JRF and SRF in the MoES project and awarded a Ph.D. from NITTE deemed to be University.
He has also been an external examiner and BOS and BOE member for other universities and colleges during this tenure.
A people-oriented professional offering nearly 10 years of rich experience in teaching Biochemistry, Nutrition, molecular biology and Biotechnology subjects to post-graduate & under-graduate students with focus on engaging and motivating students to learn & excel.
Provided guidance to post graduate students and scholars in performing enzyme and protein purification, fish protein hydrolysates cytotoxic studies and anti-cancer studies
