PhD program

The PhD (Biomedical Science) program at SDMRIBS accepts candidates with a postgraduation degree in any basic science discipline or a basic degree in any applied science including Biomedical Science, Bioscience, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences and any related Life Sciences programmes awarded by a recognized college/university considered equivalent by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University are eligible for enrolment for PhD course in biological/biomedical sciences. Candidates are invited to apply in response to advertisements issued by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University appearing during November-December every year. All applicants are required to take a written test conducted by the university.

Candidates who have qualified the national exams (CSIR/ICMR/Gate) are also required to apply for this entrance test for admission to the PhD program at SDMRIBS.
