He is expertise in Plant secondary metabolite isolation, purification, characterization and In vitro evaluation of antioxidant activity of plant secondary metabolites, in vivo antidiabetic activity of plant secondary metabolites.
He obatained his B. Sc. degree majoring in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Computer Science from Sahyadri Science College, Shimoga-577 203 in 2005.
Further he obtained his M. Sc. degree in Biochemistry from Department of studies and research in Biochemistry, PG centre, Tholahunse, Kuvempu University, Davangere-577 002 in the year 2007.
Further he obtained his M. Phil. Degree in Department of studies and research in Biochemistry, P. G. Centre, Tholahunse, Davangere-577 002 during 2008-2009. His M. Phil research topic was “Effect of certain phytochemicals on alloxan induced diabetes mellitus�.
Later he worked as JRF in the DAE-BRNS sponsored research project, Department of studies and research in Biochemistry, Davangere University, Davangere 577 002 in the year 2010.
He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from Department of studies and research in Biochemistry, Davangere University, Davangere 577 002 in the year 2017. He worked on “Isolation, purification, characterization of phytochemical of Anisomeles indica Kuntze and evaluation of its biological activity�.
Later he joined Sahyadri Science College, (Constituent college of Kuvempu University) Shimoga, worked as lecturer in Department of Biotechnology, he was actively involved in academics and research. He has also been an external examiner, BOE member for other universities and colleges during this tenure.
As a lecturer worked in Department of Biotechnology at Sahyadri Science College, (Constituent college of Kuvempu University) Shimoga, He was actively involved in academics and research.

He is expertise in Plant secondary metabolite extraction, primary screening, isolation of flavonoids, characterization of flavonoids by 2-D paper chromatography, solvent system optimization for isolation of individual compounds by TLC, extraction of essential oil, and In vivo toxicological evaluation of plant secondary metabolites and evaluation of antifungal, antiaflatoxigenic, antioxidant activity of essential oil, and In vitro antioxidant activity of plant secondary metabolites, in vivo antidiabetic activity of plant secondary metabolites.
