He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Chemistry, Botany, and Biotechnology, from SDM College Ujire – 574240 in 2012.
Furthermore, he possesses a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from Mangalore University's Department of Studies in Biochemistry, situated at Jnana Kaveri, Post Graduate Centre, Chikka Aluvara, Kodagu -571232. This degree was obtained in the year 2014.
He also holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Mangalore University's Department of Studies in Biochemistry, located at Jnana Kaveri, Post Graduate Centre, Chikka Aluvara, Kodagu -571232. This degree was earned during the period of 2015-2023. The Ph.D. research topic focused on evaluating the inhibition of heterodimerization between the Hypoxia inducible factor-1α and β proteins using LMCs as lead molecules.
He worked as a project assistant at the Central University of Hyderabad, Telangana.
He brings a wealth of experience to his professional journey, having worked in various roles within the field of biomedicine and computational biology. Notably, he served as a project assistant at the Central University of Hyderabad, Telangana, where he actively contributed to research projects and collaborated with a diverse team
In addition, he served as the Journal Manager of Biomedicine, the official publication of the Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists (IABMS). In this role, he demonstrated his organizational and management skills by overseeing the publication process and ensuring the smooth functioning of the journal and indexing. The Biomedicine journal, with its print ISSN of 0970 2067, serves as a platform for disseminating cutting-edge research in the field.
Furthermore, he took on the responsibility of being the Web Manager for the Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists (IABMS), where he utilized his technical expertise to maintain and optimize the association's website (https://iabms.in). His contribution ensured a user-friendly and informative online presence for the association. Also, part of technical team in various annual conferences conducted by IABMS.
He has established himself as an expert in computational biology, with a strong foundation in lead discovery, small molecule optimization, preclinical evaluation, molecular modeling, system biology, and pharmacokinetics. His diverse skillset enables him to tackle challenging research problems and make valuable contributions to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
He is a highly accomplished researcher in the field of Biochemistry, he conducted a noteworthy research project during master degree dissertation, where he focused on isolating Serine Protease Inhibitors from Guizotia abyssinica (NIGER) Seeds. This research showcased his expertise and dedication to exploring novel biochemical compounds.
Continuing his academic journey, he pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. His doctoral research revolved around evaluating the inhibition of the Hypoxia inducible factor-1α-β protein heterodimerization using LMCs as lead molecules. This particular study reflects his keen interest in understanding protein interactions and their implications in cellular processes.
Furthermore, he has made valuable contributions to various research projects during his academic career. He conducted computational studies and performed data representation for several investigations. Notable among these studies were the screening of natural plant compounds as potential inhibitors for Protein Arginine Methyltransferase-5, molecular phylogenetic evaluation of endophytic fungi isolated from Tragia involucrata Linn.
With a strong foundation in Biochemistry and a diverse range of research experiences, he has demonstrated his ability to contribute valuable insights and findings to the scientific community. His expertise in computational studies, data analysis, and in-vitro experimental techniques makes him a valuable asset to any research team.
