Dr. K. Satyamoorthy holds the administrative & research position at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) University tasked to elevate national & international interdisciplinary research endeavours, inculcate translational research at the grassroot level & promote innovation & entrepreneurship.
Over the years, Dr. Satyamoorthy is credited with building research & innovation Institutions of repute & partake in number of research & academic excellence endeavours. His research team undertakes interrogation of genetic & epigenetic mechanisms for diagnosis, prognosis & treatment of selected communicable & non-communicable disorders.
He & his team has been credited with over 340 publications, several patents, & applications; & he has been the recipient of several awards. Dr Satyamoorthy has successfully collaborated with national & international academia & industry researchers including from Australia, Japan, Germany, Netherland, Belgium, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil, USA & Canada.
