Ph.D Program

The Ph.D (Biomedical Science) program at SDMRIBS accepts candidates with a postgraduation degree in any basic science discipline or a basic degree in any applied science including Biomedical Science, Bioscience, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences & any related Life Sciences programmes awarded by a recognized college/university considered equivalent by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University are eligible for enrolment for Ph.D course in biological/biomedical sciences. Candidates are invited to apply in response to advertisements issued by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University appearing during November-December every year. All applicants are required to take a written test conducted by the university.

Candidates who have qualified the national exams (CSIR/ICMR/Gate) are also required to apply for this entrance test for admission to the Ph.D program at SDMRIBS.
